A South Korean Elementary School Ranks K-Pop Groups Based On Popularity

Can you guess who is the most popular?

A community post has been gaining attention recently for showing how popular each K-Pop group is among elementary school students. One elementary school in South Korea took a public poll by asking students to stick a sticker on the page for their bias group.

A total of 12 groups were listed, with 3rd and 4th generation groups such as BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, BTS, MONSTA X, NewJeans, IVE, SEVENTEEN, and (G)I-DLE.

Fans were surprised to see that IVE took the crown for popularity. Their page (far left, 1st column) had the most stickers, followed by BLACKPINK and BTS, then (G)I-DLE. Many netizens agreed that IVE’s popularity in elementary schools is a wall.

  • MONSTA X has 0 votes.
  • Remove the post’s search tags, LOL but yeah, Jang Wonyoung is indeed the president of elementary students. They love her so much.
  • Even in pre-school! I teach (international age) 6-year-olds, and they sing IVE’s songs every day. Then it’s Kyungseo and Lee Moo Jin.
  • For sure, (G)I-DLE also has many fans. They’re the two-top with IVE.
  • Maybe BLACKPINK is a has-been now LOL they can’t face up with IVE.

IVE’s popularity has definitely skyrocketed since their debut.
