South Korean Man Saves 9-Year-Old Child From Being Abducted By Drunk Man

A drunk 40-year-old man recently tried to kidnap a 9-year-old girl at a playground in Gwangju. Thanks to a civilian who gave chase, the girl was saved.

It was reported on April 2, 2023, around 5.15 pm, the 40-year-old man had offered the child snacks and tried to take her back to his house. After investigations, it was discovered that he had tried to convince her by saying he would give her a doll and had lured her for about 500m. The heroic civilian witnessed this and gave chase, asking if they were related. The 40-year-old man lied that he was the girl’s uncle.

Thankfully, the hero did not relent in his questioning and grew suspicious after unsatisfactory answers. He immediately called the police. According to the hero, the abductor had claimed that he would return the girl to the playground after giving her the doll.
