South Korean Cheerleaders Get Spit At During Match, Sparking Huge Criticism
South Korean cheerleaders from the Samsung Lions squad were recently spit at during a match, sparking huge outcry and criticism.
The girls had been sitting on a raised platform when a man suddenly walked by and spit at them. He had been holding water in his mouth when he looked up at sprayed it all over the girls.

The girls looked shocked and dumbfounded immediately after this happened.

People soon identified the man as Kim Sang Heon, the leader of the cheering squad. He is 43- years-old this year, and has been active as Samsung Lions’ cheering squad leader since 2013. He manages the girls that he spit water at.

After the outcry, he allegedly apologized to the girls publicly. Many also claim that the entire team had been joking around with each other prior to the incident. Despite clarifications, X-users continue to express their contempt at Kim and the situation.
