“Squid Game” Actor Admits Co-star Burst Into Tears After Filming Explicit Scene With Him
Actor Heo Sung Tae, globally popular for his role in Squid Game, recently made a surprising revelation about his explicit sex scene in the series.

The actor recently appeared on the popular YouTube show, Nobacktak, where he talked about his upcoming film, The Informant. During the conversation, he hesitantly revealed that there was a bed scene in the movie.
The confession was met with surprise as Heo had previously announced that he had promised his wife he would not film intimate scenes anymore. When the MC, Tak Jae Hoon, asked how his wife reacted after watching this new sex scene, he revealed that she was warned beforehand and didn’t react much to it since the overall movie turned out well.
Heo then proceeded to share his dramatic experience of filming the Squid Game explicit scene, which had left him embarrassed due to a misunderstanding. He mentioned that since the scene required skin exposure, the staff covered his private parts with a protective cover and kept a minimum crew on set.

Though the filming went as planned, after it was over, his co-star Kim Joo Ryoung suddenly started crying. While Heo was relieved at finally completing the scene, Kim’s crying riled him up immediately as crew members started looking at him strangely. The actor recalled while laughing, “It felt like I had become a pervert out of nowhere. People who were unaware of the situation misunderstood and went, ‘What did Sung Tae-sunbaenim do to her?”

While this candid behind-the-scenes story amused viewers, it also highlighted the reality of filming such scenes, underscoring how emotional draining it can be for the actors.
