Super Junior Fans Show Their Appreciation For IVE’s Jang Wonyoung After A Sweet Moment At The “2022 Asia Artist Awards”
The 2022 Asia Artist Awards took place on December 13, 2022. Many idols, such as NewJeans with the Daesang for Best Performance, swept up awards. Another such winner was Super Junior‘s Siwon. He walked away with the prize for New Wave Actor.

Siwon has been active in many K-Dramas. He worked his way up and now has a starring role in Work Later, Drink Now, as the nerdy but lovable PD. Super Junior fans were glad to see the prize presented to him by fellow member Leeteuk, the MC.
But they were even more touched to know it was not originally the case. IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung, Leeteuk’s co-host, was supposed to announce the winners. She sweetly gave Leeteuk a chance to do so instead to create a more meaningful night.

- Leeteuk: “Oh, I’ve just checked it, and I think that I should definitely do it. You’re doing so well, Wonyoung.”
- Wonyoung: “Right? I’ll leave it to you.”
- Leeteuk: “Thank you.Β The winners for AAA’s New Wave Actor are people I really love. Hwang Minhyun and Choi Siwon. Congratulations.”
