Super Junior, MAMAMOO, Heize, And More Stars To Perform At MBC’s Online Concert For A Cause
MBC will be hosting a K-Pop concert featuring a powerful lineup of artists to raise money for a good cause.
On June 30, MBC announced they would be presenting a K-Pop concert event called World Is One. This event, co-organized by MBC and World Vision, hopes to convey comfort and hope to people around the world who are suffering from the current COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic.
To be held at MBC’s Ilsan Open Hall and broadcast live online, World Is One boasts a seriously star-studded lineup! The concert will not only have Super Junior‘s Leeteuk and Oh My Girl‘s Seunghee as MCs but it will also feature 14 teams of musicians representing K-Pop.
Among these teams performing will be Super Junior, Oh My Girl, MAMAMOO, SF9, APRIL, Stray Kids, N.Flying, Cosmic Girls (also known as WJSN), KARD, Ha Sungwoon, Heize, and HIPHOP GIRLZ all set to bring some serious fire to the stage.
Additionally, the concert will also feature performances from the world-renowned jazz musician Na Yoon Sun.
The World Is One concert will not only bring some seriously amazing performances from legendary artists but it will also help raise money for World Vision, an international relief development organization. Through the broadcast, the audience will be able to make donations with all proceeds going to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 among vulnerable people as well as aid vulnerable groups against poverty and inequality.
World Is One is set to broadcast through MBC M and Naver‘s video platforms on July 9 at 7 PM KST.
