“Him Again?” Suzy’s New K-Drama Unveiled—With Male Lead Still Getting Hate
The long-awaited first look at Disney+‘s upcoming K-Drama Portraits of Delusion (also previously referred to as Delusion or Hypnosis) has, unfortunately, left viewers still unsure about the casting.

On November 13, 2025 (KST), still cuts for what has been dubbed one of the most highly anticipated releases for 2026 were released, featuring lead actors Suzy and Kim Seon Ho.

K-Drama fans, as well as fans of the webtoon original, were thrilled to see Suzy’s take on the mysterious Song Jeong Hwa, the reclusive owner of Nammun Hotel. From her black bob to pale skin, the K-Pop star was praised for perfectly recreating the character’s aura.
The still of Kim Seon Ho as Yoon Iho, on the other hand, was not as well-received.

Ever since the news of his casting, Kim Seon Ho and his past have been up for discussion all over again. And it seems, more so with the first look at the actor in his role, that he has not been able to move on from the 2021 scandal.

- “Seriously, though? It’s not like he’s irreplaceable. I don’t understand why the K-Drama industry is so hung up on casting him.”
- “I just want to watch Suzy and Suzy only.”
- “I f*cking hate the male lead… Why did this have to happen to Suzy? Damn it.”
- “For sure, having him as the male lead is going to make this a no-go for a lot of people.”
- “I mean, did they have to cast him as the male lead? I wonder if there’s something else going on, maybe money.”
- “Oh, Suzy did a phenomenal job recreating the original character… Just Suzy, though.”
- “Why do they keep casting that man!!!”
- “Suzy is gorgeous.”
- “Suzy’s perfect. I just wish the male lead were someone else.”
- “He keeps getting cast when people clearly don’t like him, and that alone makes me see him in a completely different light now.”
Portraits of Delusion reunites Suzy and Kim Seon Ho four years after their past hit, Start-Up. Currently in-shoot, the K-Drama is set to be released exclusively on Disney+ worldwide sometime in the second half of 2026.
