THE BOYZ Calls The Police On Sasaengs That Trespassed Into Their Dorm Building

They will be severely dealt with.

Recent reports revealed that THE BOYZ have been the target of sasaengs. Sasaengs, who are known as stalker fans that invade artists’ privacy, have been trespassing into THE BOYZ’s dorm buildings and illegally filming the private space.

Following a recent incident where sasaengs had visited their dorms once again, the police were brought into the matter and the perpetrators were dealt with strictly. Their agency has addressed the matter and issued a stern warning. They have also warned that anyone else that commits similar crimes will be banned from further fan activities and they will be dealt with by the police as well.

At dawn today, sasaengs secretly entered the dorm building and waited. Upon discovering them, we made a report to the police who dispatched their officers and caught a portion of the sasaengs who had tried to escape. They will be punished for misdemeanor as we will be dealing with this according to the law.

The full notice can be read below.

This is the fan club manager for THE BOYZ. Firstly, we wish to express our gratitude to the fans that have been sending THE BOYZ much support. However, despite us having informed everyone through official notices, there have been continuous instances where the boys have had their private spaces (the dorms, the agency, and salon) visited and where their vans have been followed, as well as have had their private schedules and personal spaces filmed. Hence, we are giving a warning one more time.

Despite the staff stopping (sasaengs) from visiting private schedules, they have been disturbing the events from being carried out as well as the boys’ transportation, and due to them having filmed such events, there have been financial damage to the contents of the events as well as complaints both internally and externally. Such damage has been continuously going on.

In addition, the members’ resting space has been filmed and even their dorm building, which should be a place where their personal life is protected, was entered secretly by the sasaengs, who waited for the boys and tried talking to them, even filming them, carrying out such acts of personal benefit that have been causing the artists and staff to seriously suffer physically and mentally.

At dawn today, sasaengs secretly entered the dorm building and waited. Upon discovering them, we made a report to the police who dispatched their officers and caught a portion of the sasaengs who had tried to escape. They will be punished for misdemeanor as we will be dealing with this according to the law.

Apart from that, we have given the CCTV footage of the sasaengs entering the building and taking photos, to the police, who are currently pursuing the matter. Upon confirming their identities, they will be immediately charged for fleeing and trespassing after transfer to the local police station. In addition, as the number of complaints from citizens has increased regarding obstructive actions in both day and night around the dorms, agencies as well as nearby roads (such as noise, smoking, drinking, and blocking the roads as well as filming artists and regular people), the police will be dispatching officers to the site to pursue additional matters.

After this announcement, any person that continuously causes such inconveniences through visiting private spaces (such as the agency, dorms, and salon) as well as visiting private schedules to film the event, will be banned from participating in all fan activities. In addition, they will not be given further warnings and we will proceed directly with collecting evidence such as CCTV footage and black box footage so as to deal with it by the law.

We hope that you will also stop actions that cause discomfort, such as visiting the artists as well as obtaining their contact numbers by illegal means and continuously calling or messaging them. Once again, we request that you do not carry out actions that benefit yourself by causing harm to others and we request your cooperation such that the artists are not harmed further.

We wish to thank THE B for reading this long post despite the bad news and we will put in more effort to ensure our artists’ safety. Thank you.
