Actress Nam Bo Ra has announced her pregnancy just seven months after getting married. Speaking with Xports News on December 11, Nam Bo Ra shared that her pregnancy was planned before marriage.
“I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant. Although my wedding was in May, I actually began preparing for pregnancy back in March. My goal was to welcome a new family member within this year, and I’m so grateful that the baby came to us so quickly.”
Her due date is mid-June next year.
“It’s right in the middle of the year, so people keep telling me it’s a really good time to give birth. I’m feeling great now. During the early weeks, I was extremely sleepy so working was tough, but after passing 10 weeks, the fatigue went away and I’m getting my energy back. My morning sickness was the worst around weeks 8–9, but it disappeared after week 10. My mom and dad were both happy, but when I showed my dad the ultrasound image, he said he didn’t want to look. When I asked why, he said he’s seen too many ultrasounds already and doesn’t need to see more.”
Her pregnancy news will be shared in more detail on KBS2’s Funstaurant. During a filming session when she was 5 weeks pregnant, she revealed the news early, and that episode will air on December 12.
Nam Bo Ra is well known as the eldest daughter in a family of 13 siblings — 8 boys and 5 girls. She married a same-age businessman in May and is now expecting her first child seven months later.
