TREASURE Claim Another Record As Their Debut Album Takes The Title Of Best-Selling Rookie Album In 2020

The monster rookie group has done it again:

Even before YG Entertainment‘s 12-member boy group TREASURE made their official debut on August 7, the group was already proving their power as record-breaking kings by setting multiple new records.

After they debuted on August 7 with their debut single album THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE, TREASURE claimed top spots on the charts and snagged a few more records along the way. The monster rookie group, however, hasn’t slowed down one bit as they add even more achievements to their growing list.

According to reports made on August 20  — after the physical album dropped on August 13 — TREASURE accumulated 160,614 album sales in a single week. This is the highest number of albums sold by a rookie group in 2020 so far, according to Hanteo Chart!

Furthermore, they set records on the Gaon Chart, took over iTunes charts around the world, claimed top spots on China’s largest music site QQ Music, and more!

Claiming the title of best-selling rookie group album of 2020, TREASURE has once again proven their immense monster rookie power!
