TREASURE Soars To The Top Spot On Music Charts Worldwide

The monster rookie group has been dominating the charts:

Having set multiple records even before making their official debut on August 7, monster rookie group TREASURE has continued to showcase their incredible power taking over global music charts.

According to Gaon Chart on August 17, TREASURE’s debut album reached no. 1 on the Retail Album Chart for the week of August 9 through August 15. According to their data, the album sold the most copies at 3 PM KST on August 13, showcasing TREASURE’s consistent power.

TREASURE, however, didn’t just take a top spot on Gaon, the group also led the Albums category on Hanteo Chart for the week. Their debut album, additionally, reached the top spot on Hanteo Chart’s Real-time Chart in a single day of release, setting the record for the highest sales volume among K-Pop rookies who debuted this year.

Furthermore, TREASURE also achieved impressive feats on international charts as well. Their title track, “BOY”, took first place on iTunes‘ Top Song Chart in 19 countries right after release, snagged no. 1 on the top five charts on China’s largest music site QQ Music, and soared to no. 1 on the QQ Music Top Rising Chart within 24 hours after release.

The group has also made a huge splash in Japan with “BOY” rising to no. 1 — and holding the position for 3 consecutive days — on the Top 100 Songs Daily Chart of LINE Music, Japan’s largest music site. It also dominated the real-time ranking on Rakuten Music, placed no. 1 on the AWA Rapid Rise Chart, and ranked at the top of LINE Music’s Weekly Chart for the week of August 5 through August 11.
