Netizens Can’t Get Over The Resemblance Between “Twenty Five Twenty One” Kim Tae Ri And Pre-Debut NCT’s Taeyong
Every week, it seems like there is a new K-Drama taking over the hearts of netizens worldwide. One of those that is gaining headlines is tvN‘s K-Drama Twenty Five Twenty One, which is also available to watch on Netflix.
The drama follows student fencer Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) and former chaebol heir-turned reporter Baek Yi Jin (also romanized as Back Yi Jin), played by Nam Joo Hyuk.
Yet, although actress Kim Tae Ri made her acting debut all the way back in 2015, it seems like a newfound spotlight is being shone on the actress. Unsurprisingly, along with her amazing acting, Kim Tae Ri is also extremely beautiful, with visuals that are so unique.
After the rising success of the show, netizens had noticed that when they looked back at Kim Tae Ri when she first started acting, in the movie The Handmaiden…
That she forms an almost familial-like resemblance to NCT‘s Taeyong when he first debuted.
Although they were clear to point out that the resemblance wasn’t as obvious now, netizens pointed to the facial features of the two which were similar. In particular, they pointed to the sharp jawline of both Kim Tae Ri and Taeyong, which are strong and prominent.
When the initial tweet was shared, netizens couldn’t stop gushing about how much the duo seemed like they could’ve been related back then. Others joked that they loved seeing their faves together in some way.
Even back in 2021, netizens thought that Taeyong and Kim Tae Ri, along with actresses Ko Bo Gyeol and Song Hye Kyo, had familial similarities, which meant that they could easily pass as siblings.

Although the two have grown up since then and might not have too much of a resemblance now, they are both stand-out visuals, wowing netizens with their looks, talent, and charisma.
No matter whether you see the similarities or not, both Taeyong and Kim Tae Ri are undeniably good at what they do and are true visuals.
