TWICE's Jeongyeon And Her Sister, Gong Seung Yeon, Volunteer Despite Their Busy Schedules, And It Showcases Their True Personalities

TWICE‘s Jeongyeon and her sister, actress Gong Seung Yeon, are both extremely caring and kind!

Although both sisters are widely recognized for their talents, they’re just as well-known for their big hearts. Back in January, fans were delighted to hear that the sisters had created an Instagram account for Yuki, a puppy in need of a forever home. They took Yuki in as a foster, and they’ve been taking care of him while trying to find a family for him.

The sisters have also been volunteering at animal shelters for years, and they were recently spotted volunteering together at Anseong Animal Shelter.

Jeongyeon and Gong Seung Yeon also made a huge donation to the Anseong Animal Shelter. They donated ₩53.0 million KRW (about $43,100 USD) worth of cat litter and litter boxes to the shelter.

While the two sisters could have just dropped off their donation, they helped the shelter’s staff and volunteers set up the new litter boxes.

Gong Seung Yeon is currently filming a new K-Drama, The Police Station Next to The Fire Station, and Jeongyeon is busy with preparations for TWICE’s concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Japan later this month and at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles in May. Despite their busy schedules, however, both sisters made time to help animals in need. They’re clearly both passionate about helping animals, and they want to make a bigger impact than just simply making a donation.

We had planned to change out the litter boxes in the Cat Room since they were old and small. After hearing about our plans, sisters Seung Yeon and Jeongyeon donated a large amount of sand and litter boxes through PETHROOM!!! They frequently donated items from PETHROOM, and we’re so so thankful 🙏🏼
