TXT Confesses They Were Disappointed By Last Tour’s Venues, And BTS’s Suga Reveals The Similarities From Their Past
TXT are currently on their 2023 world tour Act: Sweet Mirage.
Last year, they completed their first world tour, ACT: LOVESICK, in 2022 after three years of the members eagerly anticipating to meet MOAs.
While the group and their fandom were excited to meet finally, both parties were disappointed about the venues. MOAs expressed their disapproval as most venues were smaller than hoped.
TXT IS TOO BIG FOR THIS SMALL VENUE, EVEN KAI'S PLUSHIE COLLECTION WOULDN'T FIT THE STAGE#WHAT_THE_FCK_BIGHIT #TXT_IS_BIGGER_THAN_YOU_THINK

Now, TXT have further revealed their true feelings about the situation in the new episode of BTS Suga‘s YouTube interview show Suchwita as Taehyun and Yeonjun are the latest guests to appear.
During the interview, the TXT members shared that they would be performing at BMO Stadium, which has a capacity of 22,000! So, Suga asked their feelings about the great feat.
Suga: A stadium, arenas… I felt really good. How do you guys feel?
Yeonjun: It feels great.
Taehyun: I want to brag about it now.
Both Yeonjun and Taehyun expressed their excitement. Suga told them they should brag about it if they want to, as not everyone gets to perform at such a large venue.
Not that many artists in the world can hold concerts at stadiums or arenas. You deserve to brag about it.
— Suga
Taehyun revealed that the small venues had disappointed all the TXT members during their last tour. He did acknowledge that the tour was post-pandemic, though, so it was understandable that they couldn’t perform in stadiums yet.
When we were on tour last year, the thing that our members were most bummed about were the venues. It was our first tour post-pandemic and it was pretty small-scale.
— Taehyun
Recognizing the disappointment, Suga comforted the members by revealing that BTS used to perform at even smaller venues, much to Yeonjun’s shock.
Suga: But that’s how we all start. We’ve gone from clubs to stadiums.
Yeonjun: Clubs?
Suga: Yes.
Yeonjun: You performed at clubs?
Suga: We performed at clubs.
Yeonjun: Really? Actual nightclubs?
Suga: A club with a capacity of 200.
Yeonjun: Oh, really?
BTS performed every type of venue, from clubs, theaters, halls, and domes to now arenas and stadiums. So, it was just a short matter of time until TXT were able to sell out arenas and stadiums, just as their seniors did.
It was a club with a capacity of 200 in Japan. We’ve performed at almost every type of venue. Everywhere you’ve been, we’ve been.
— Suga
Previously, Taehyun opened up about his frustrations about the small venues while on stage in Houston, Texas, during last year’s tour. Read more below.
