There, after thanking the Omniscient Interfering View team, as well as her YouTube subscribers, she began talking about bouncing back from the scandal that left her devastated.

Hello, I’m Tzuyang. Um… I honestly came here without really thinking this through.

At first, there was some talk about a rookie award earlier, and then—uh—I’m sorry, I really didn’t prepare anything at all. I came completely unprepared, so I didn’t even have an acceptance speech ready.

Actually, since this was my first time attending an awards ceremony, I even went to an expensive salon, got my makeup done, and got fully ready before coming. So I did prepare for that, at least. Anyway, first and foremost, thank you so much for giving me such a big award.

I want to thank the Omniscient Interfering View team—the production team, the writers, everyone. I’ve always wanted to get closer to you all, but I’m pretty shy and not great at approaching people. Still, to the writers, the directors, the camera directors—thank you always. And to all the Omniscient Interfering View team members, you’re always so bright and kind to me, and I’m truly, truly grateful. Thank you so much.

To my team as well… My YouTube channel is approaching 13 million subscribers, and first of all, to all my subscribers and viewers who watch my content, thank you so, so much. My parents are here today too. They came saying it would be fine even if I didn’t win an award. Mom, Dad. I love you. To our staff and team members, and my manager, thank you always. To our PD, our staff, our editors, and the entire family, thank you so, so much.

Tzuyang got teary eyed, with her voice trembling, as she shared, “I think there have been many difficult moments in my life. I thought it was so hard I could die. But when I actually faced moments that felt that hard, I realized I wanted to live.”

The YouTuber then offered words of encouragement for anyone who might be going through similar things:

Since this feels like it might be my first and last time standing here, I wanted to share something that’s been on my mind. I used to think that I’d gone through so many incredibly difficult things in my life. I really thought things were so hard that I could die. But when a moment that truly felt that unbearable actually arrived, I realized that, more than anything, I wanted to live.

So I worked incredibly hard. I really did. Working hard because I wanted to live… But honestly, it wasn’t like I was always pushing myself nonstop. Sometimes I would just lie sprawled out at home doing nothing. Still, I think it’s because all of those moments existed that I was able to stand on such a precious stage like this today.

This kind of meaningful moment, receiving such a valuable award, may someday disappear. And I know hardship may come again. But because you’ve given me this moment, I think I’ll be able to live even harder moving forward, holding on to this memory with gratitude.

So if there’s anyone out there who’s finding life a little difficult right now, it’s okay to just pause and rest a little. But I hope you don’t give up and keep living earnestly until the end. Once again, thank you so much.

Despite the tears, Tzuyang wrapped up her speech with a touch of humor—dedicating the honor to the true stars of her show!

And lastly, my manager told me I absolutely had to say this. To the yellowtail… and the ten kilograms of king crab, five kilograms of curry, spicy tteokbokki, and conveyor-belt sushi. To all the many foods that have been eaten by me, I dedicate this honor.
