V is taking a page out of Jin‘s book on how to be a “leJindary” brand ambassador!
BTS‘s members sell out items in the blink of an eye, so it’s no surprise that companies all over the world are vying to get in on the action. Currently, the group represents multiple products, ranging from cars to ice cream, and they have funny ways of promoting them that aren’t exactly subtle!
Back in May, a fan posted BTS’s Chilsung Cider ad on Weverse. In the caption, they wrote, “Bangtan oppas were already refreshing, but now they’re even more refreshing with Chilsung Cider. Just seeing them refreshes me.”
“I’m not lying, it’s really delicious. Truly,” Jin wrote in the comments. “(I’ve fulfilled the contract condition of promoting its deliciousness naturally.)”
Now, V is following in Jin’s footsteps. On July 23, he left several punny comments on his members’ posts that plug Lemona, FILA, Baskin Robbins, and the massage chair brand Bodyfriend. In the comments for RM’s selfie, V wrote:
When I was recording [the new album].. I thought about how much I want ARMYs to hear it soon. Waiting goes best with with Baskin [Robbins].
He also popped by Jin’s “I’m getting old” post.
I wondered why my knees were hurting, but it turns out that it’s raining pretty hard..
Ah, my youth.
V wrote, “for your knees, Bodyfriend.” Sound advice!
V’s marketing parade doesn’t end there though. He also commented on RM’s recent “Namjooning” photos, where RM revealed that he’s taking a test just for fun. V punned “FILA” with “pi-la”, meaning “to bloom”.
