Woman Charged For Threatening K-Drama Actress After She Confirmed Relationship With Top Singer
A woman in her 30s has been indicted for posting a series of malicious and threatening messages targeting popular actress Han Ji Min following the public revelation of her relationship with Jannabi vocalist Choi Jung Hoon.
According to prosecutors, the suspect, surnamed Lee, made 19 posts between September and October 2024, including threats such as “I’ll sabotage the movie Han Ji Min is starring in” and “Shut your mouth.” She allegedly tagged both Han Ji Min and her acquaintances in the posts.

Han’s agency BH Entertainment filed a police complaint last year, leading authorities to identify the woman with help from the social-media platform. After several months of investigation, prosecutors formally charged her without detention on October 20, 2025, under intimidation and defamation laws.
Reports indicate the suspect began her actions shortly after the actress’s dating news surfaced, apparently driven by obsessive anger. Han Ji Min has reportedly suffered emotional distress as a result of the online harassment.
