IVE‘s Wonyoung recently posted an Instagram story, tagging a new account. The account seemed to be for something new, titled FOREVER:CHERRY.
The name is based on her own. Her initials in Korean look like a pie sign and two circles, which she connects to form an infinity sign. Later, it progresses to form a cherry.
With her nickname being cherry rabbit already, it seems very on brand for her. The account quickly amassed followers, being at 18,000 at the time of writing.
Fans still don’t know what the page represents. Could it be a new brand, or a solo album? Netizens deduced that it was likely the former.
- I don’t think she’d have to make a new account if it was for a solo promotion… Why would they leave the group official account alone when it has so many followers? Looking at the name of the account and the teasers, it does seem too much like a new business or brand, but isn’t she still really young? I’m curious why she’s already starting a business.
- IVE’s making a comeback soon, so I doubt it’s a solo, but perhaps it’s a brand collab or an advertisement, or she’s opening a YouTube channel or something? Let’s wait and see.
