EXO’s Xiumin To Be Discharged From The Military Soon… He’ll Be The Team’s First Member To Complete His Service
EXO‘s Xiumin is set to be discharged from his military soon! He will be discharging off-base after his scheduled year-end leave due to the coronavirus pandemic.
During the pandemic, many army men in service were given the option of using their remaining leave days so as to be able to discharge without returning to the military base. Essentially, this would grant them early discharge as they are able to go about civilian life before the official discharge date.
Media outlet MBN Star released news on 23 November 2020 that he will be given back his status as a regular civilian after 6 December 2020. Although he is free to go about his daily life during leave, there are a few restrictions placed on those with a “military” status, such as being unable to participate in business or other work.
He enlisted on 7 May 2019, and he will be the first EXO member to be discharged from the army after completing his military service.
