“Nation’s MC” Yoo Jae Suk Buys Up 15 Million USD In Real Estate
It was recently reported in the news that celebrity Yoo Jae Suk recently bought up ₩20.0 billion KRW (about $15.2 million USD) worth of land and buildings. He paid for the purchase entirely in cash.
According to public records at the courthouse, the star recently bought 298.5 meters square of land. He also paid for two buildings at ₩11.6 billion KRW (about $8.81 million USD) and ₩8.20 billion KRW (about $6.23 million USD) each. These buildings were 5 and 4 stories respectively. The 4-storey house was used for housing, while the 5-storey house was an empty one that had been demolished.
In a photo provided by a news site, the red box depicts the real estate that was purchased by Yoo Jae Suk. On the right is the 4-storey house that he purchased, which sits on the land including that of the demolished 5-storey building.
What was noted by real estate counsels was that Yoo Jae Suk had not applied for any loans. This means that he would be taking his time to rebuild any building on the land. It was also noted that by combining the ownership of both buildings and plots, he managed to create one big plot with raised value as they both face different directional roads. While most buildings in the area are only accessible with a singular road, Yoo Jae Suk’s parcel faces both roads.
On the other hand, it is also interesting to note that the buildings and land are next to Antenna Music‘s building, which is the entertainment agency housing Yoo Jae Suk.
