By dispatching trucks with critical messages to the company’s headquarters, they aimed to emphasize their unease over Minho’s scheduled appearance on the Japanese variety show, The Ultimate Sports Men’s Competition 2024, set to premiere on May 3 on TBS.
The show — which aims to celebrate athletic prowess through a series of competitions — has been identified by fans as a potential risk for Minho, who is renowned for his physical abilities and has been announced as a prominent competitor. Fans argue that his participation could expose him to injuries, distracting him from his main roles as a singer and actor.
The trucks carried clear messages urging SM Entertainment to reconsider Minho’s involvement in the show. They requested that the company prioritize his primary career, ensure his safety, adjust his schedule to avoid risky activities, listen more to Korean fans’ requests, and cancel his participation in the show immediately.
