BTS’s Jungkook Has Found Joy In Reading Books— And It’s Helping Him In Many Ways
Now we all know just how talented BTS’s “golden maknae” Jungkook is in not only music, but in a wide range of hobbies. But with the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been hard, even for Jungkook, to fully enjoy his hobbies.
He stated in an interview with Vogue, “I need to keep seeking change and challenge myself. The same goes for photography and painting. I carried a camera with me while we worked, but we couldn’t move around much due to COVID-19, so the photos all looked pretty similar”.
So instead, he looked for different ways to keep busy, and books were his answer! He felt that reading more books would help him when it came to writing lyrics.
My lyrics reflect my speech and individuality. This is another area where I can express myself.
What’s interesting is that previously, Jungkook had revealed that he didn’t read books that much. “I don’t really read books. I can’t stay focused so I rarely read”. And when he did read a book, he would post it online, shocked that he had actually finished it!
Jungkook said he rarely reads books because he can't stay focused. It reminds me that's why he came so excitedly to share with us that he had finished reading a book 🥺🥺 pic.twitter.com/HcqMHWGUxb
