Danish Singer Christopher Accurately Guesses Lee Young Ji’s Age For A Surprising Reason, Exposing The Secret Behind Her Popularity
Danish singer Christopher Lund Nissen was the latest guest on rapper Lee Young Ji‘s popular show, My Alcohol Diary. Although Christopher came prepared for the interview, the singer quickly became comfortable with Lee Young Ji, even discarding the translator he brought with him.
The two had fun teaching each other different words in Danish and Korean and trying each other’s different alcoholic drinks.
As is typical with Lee Young Ji’s show, they also had moments of sincere honesty where they discussed the dating culture of K-Pop idols, and Christopher even gave Lee Young Ji genuine dating advice.
But since the two had never met before the show, they also had hilarious moments where Lee Young Ji asked Christopher to guess her profession after he was surprised by her vocal ability.
While teaching each other their native languages, Lee Young Ji asks how she can say “How old are you?” in Danish before also teaching him the phrase in Korean.
Before Lee Young Ji ironically realizes she doesn’t know how to address Christopher because of their age difference.
Lee Young Ji: Keep eating…
Christopher: Keep eating, boy?
Lee Young Ji: No. Keep eating, man? Keep eating, sir?
Christopher: You can call me boy too. Keep eating boy. I’ll be like “You got it, girl.”
But despite Christopher’s assurance, Lee Young Ji doesn’t want to be too informal.
Lee Young Ji: But our age gap is like…
So she first asks Christopher if he knows how old she is and is shocked when he guesses correctly.
Christopher: That’s always a tricky question.
Christopher: You are 21.
Because of her shock, the singer explains that he could accurately guess because of her enthusiasm for hosting the show.
Christopher: You know why I know? Because you speak super loud. So loud. I’ve never met anyone who speaks this loud.
And as Lee Young Ji points out, her enthusiasm is precisely “why people love [her] show.”
Christopher: Oh? The louder the better? Let’s go hard!
Of course, Lee Young Ji is absolutely correct that her enthusiasm, humor, and honesty definitely allow her guests to feel comfortable and viewers to enjoy watching every episode.
