On the Internet community board Quora, a K-Pop fan asked “which idol spills anything worth knowing about the K-pop industry” and fellow fan Aurora Wang came through with an answer so juicy, you’ll never need to moisturize again.
Aurora said, “Definitely. Jessica would be releasing her debut book, ‘Shine’ which would be based on her own experiences in the industry.” She then went on to analyze a preview of Jessica’s book which is available to read through Entertainment Weekly.
Aurora’s analysis is quite in-depth and covers lines like “smile like the camera is your best friend” and “where everything is watching and your secrets can actually kill you”.
Aurora believes that the book is going to be a not-so-thinly veiled attempt at addressing some grievances Jessica may have had from her Girls’ Generation days. Of course, that’s a pretty popular theory and just one of many reasons fans are so hyped for the book!
Needless to say, everyone is hyped for the tea Jessica is about to spill, and even if it doesn’t necessarily talk about her personal experiences, it’ll still lift the veil on what goes on behind-the-scenes in K-Pop!
