Given that ITZY‘s Ryujin recently revealed the group feels a pressure to “stay thin“, many fans have been wondering what they eat. Thankfully, Harper’s Bazaar came to the rescue by interviewing ITZY on their typical diet. Here’s everything Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna usually eat in a day. And don’t worry—they let themselves have treats too!
Yeji typically just drinks water in the morning, but sometimes she switches it out for some watermelon.
Yeji says she sometimes eats meat for lunch, but the most important thing to her is her three sauces: mayonnaise, mustard, and bean sauce.
Yeji loves watermelon, so she often chooses it for snack time too.
Yeji likes to eat a crisp and nutritious salad for dinner, but she also needs a little meat on her plate. She usually opts for chicken breast or wings
When Lia doesn’t have a schedule, she wakes up pretty late—around 12 to 1PM. Once she’s awake, she likes to start the day with a simple brunch, often a fruit smoothie.
Lia’s go-to healthy snack is cherry tomatoes dressed with honey or balsamic dressing. But, she also revealed that she has a daily routine of some glazed donuts. While she recommends eating no more than one, she admitted she often snacks on multiple throughout the day.
Lia’s favorite dinner carb is rice, so one of her go-to dishes is kimchi fried rice. For a tasty twist, she adds mozzarella cheese on top and microwaves it for a few seconds.
Ryujin says she wakes up at around 10 to 11AM, and the first thing she puts in her body is a glass of cold water with ice.
A little later in the morning, Ryujin eats a brunch of stir-fried vegetables such as cabbage, mushrooms, onions, and green onions. The most important ingredient, however, is oyster sauce to give her brunch that all-important kick of flavor.
Sweet-toothed Ryujin like candies or jellies when she’s in the mood for a snack.
Ryujin typically eats salad for dinner, but if she’s in the mood for something different, she won’t say no to herself.
Like Ryujin, Chaeryeong starts the day with a glass of water. She needs to drink a lot to take her supplements, so she finds herself getting full without any food.
Since Chaeryeong skips a real breakfast, she gets hungry by early afternoon. Sometimes she likes meat, other times ice cream. Her only rule is that she doesn’t eat foods that are too spicy and too salty.
Chaeryeong didn’t tell viewers what she eats for dinner, but given that most of the members like salad, that may be her pick too.
Yuna didn’t specify what she eats for breakfast, but she did elaborate on her lunch preferences—beef, pasta, hamburgers, and pizza.
When Yuna wants something to eat on the go, fries are her number one choice.
When it comes to dinner time, Yuna likes to eat salad and chicken breast—hold the sauce. She tries not to eat past 8PM, too.
