IVE's Yujin Was Always Meant To Be A Leader—Here's Proof From Her IZ*ONE Days

Ahn Yujin was just announced as the leader of Starship Entertainment‘s newest girl group, IVE. This may come as a surprise to some considering she was among the youngest in her previous group, IZ*ONE, but her potential has been hinted at since before!

The maknae line of IZ*ONE always knew that she had the potential to be a leader. Composed of the youngest six in the group, these members were born between 2001 and 2004: Nako, Yuri, Wonyoung, Yujin, Minju, and Hitomi.

In one Arcade II episode, a tarot reader examined their chemistry as a group. She pointed out that the maknae line needs a leader who “can make decisions.” This should be a vocal person who can influence others to voice their opinions.

They unanimously picked Yujin as the pseudo-leader of the six members.

So this makes the leader of the group Yujin!

Wonyoung commented that she “has that vibe” that befits a leader. Since she will also be a member of IVE, fans can happily note that she’s approved of Yujin as her leader since then!

When the maknae line met up again with the older set of members later that episode, the unnies were pleased to hear about their choice of leader. They, too, voiced their confidence in Yujin.
