Jessi recently performed at London’s MIK festival, proving to be the main event as she interacted with the crowds and showed off her daring fashion.
There, Jessi was also praised for her response to rapper Dok2‘s attempt at hype.
I don’t care who performs before me or after, I rap better than everybody. Let’s f**king go.
Dok2’s statement was bold, considering he performed on the same day as Epik High, Loco, PH-1, and Jessi. Many netizens took offense to his comments, and Jessi even called Dok2 out in her own set.
There’s a lot of good artists coming out tonight. Today’s Hip Hop night, right? We got a lot, we got some Jay Park, we got some Loco, we got Lee Hi… The f**k is Dok2 talking about?
Netizens praised Jessi’s comment, and their appreciation for Jessi’s iconic behavior was only furthered when a fan threw a bra on stage during her performance.
Understandably, Jessi was confused at first, not sure if she’d seen the item correctly.
Was that a bra?
But she quickly made light of the situation, joking that it wouldn’t fit her.
That’s too big. Mine’s not that big. You’ve got big ol’ titties.
She even asked fans to give her the bra, continuing her joke further as she jokingly “tried it on.”
Can someone give that to me?
While there can be issues with fans throwing items on stage, especially with something like a bra, Jessi pointed out that the fan was incredibly respectful with how they’d decorated the bra.
This person is so respectful, you know why? It says every artist [name] that came out tonight. Not giving anyone shade, just loving everybody. Thank you! Thank you for loving hip-hop and K-Pop.
Fans loved her response, believing she’s truly the embodiment of iconic behavior.
