How Music Broadcast MCs Are Actually Chosen, According To LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae

LE SSERAFIM‘s Eunchae is the newest MC for the weekly music broadcast, Music Bank, and fans have been loving her humorous wit and bright personality.

In conjunction with her MC work, Eunchae has also started her own variety show, Eunchae’s Star Diary, where she meets with idols from different groups performing at Music Bank. Talking to them about everything from making friends to idol struggles.

Eunchae is a natural host; fans love seeing her in the spotlight.

In a recent Mnet‘s Dope Club interview, Eunchae spilled on how idols get cast as music show MCs. She first admitted that she wasn’t sure why out of everyone she was selected.

But Chaewon revealed that to be chosen as an MC, idols have to go through an audition. And, of course, “Eunchae did really well” at the audition.

Eunchae explained that she was dedicated to her practice for her audition.

She even used background music, a real microphone, and past official scripts for practice.

And even though Eunchae succeeded in getting the MC position, she still hasn’t relaxed her standards for herself. Although she quickly refuted the idea that MCs get better treatment at shows…
