LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae Sent Both EXO And SEVENTEEN Into Internal Crisis Mode With One Statement
EXO has been in the business for a very long time, and after 13 years in the industry, you’d think that nothing would surprise them. WRONG! EXO’s Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol gained attention after finally being shocked when hearing information about a young idol.
In fact, the young idol that caused the funniest reactions from the EXO members was none other than LE SSERAFIM‘s maknae Eunchae.
The three members of EXO were guests on Eunchae’s YouTube series Eunchae’s Star Diary. Unsurprisingly, Eunchae was very nervous when she went to approach the legends.
Luckily, EXO proved to be the best sunbaes as they tried to put the young idol at ease with their charm.
Hilariously, one of the first things that the members noticed was Eunchae’s height. In particular, Xiumin seemed particularly shocked about the idol’s height, adding, “I think you’re taller than I thought.” Although Eunchae had probably heard the compliments before, she couldn’t help but blush and thank them.
After walking for a bit longer, Baekhyun asked the young idol if it was okay that he asked her age.
As soon as Eunchae replied, “16,” the looks on all three of the EXO members’ faces were truly classic.
Eunchae explained that by the international age system, which Korea now follows, she was 16, which led to the members asking what year she was born.
When she replied that she was born in 2006, the members couldn’t hide their shock, with Chanyeol even pointing out that not only was there a 16-year difference between Eunchae and Xiumin, but EXO’s oldest member Suho was twice the age of Eunchae.
Yet, EXO isn’t the only group that has been shook by Eunchae’s age. When the HYBE artists took part in Na Young Suk’s Game Caterers series, SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan had the funniest reaction when finding out how old she was when their song “Pretty U” came out. Eunchae revealed she was just 10 years old, and it shocked Seungkwan, who was 19 when the song was released.
After asking how it felt, Seungkwan then explained he was joking, which made everyone laugh.
