NCT DREAM’s Haechan Spills On Which Member Created The Signature Hand Choreography For “Beatbox”
NCT DREAM‘s ‘glitch’ choreography in “Glitch Mode” is iconic, but “Beatbox” is already making waves with its own noteworthy signature hand gesture. And as it turns out, one of the members choreographed it himself!
Following the immense success they achieved with Glitch Mode, NCT DREAM dropped their repackage album Beatbox on May 30 to even more success. In fact, on the day of the album’s release, NCT DREAM’s official social media announced that the group is now officially a triple-million seller for the second time.
NCT DREAM is on its way to becoming ‘triple million sellers’ for the second time with this comeback!

Given how catchy the title track “Beatbox” is, it’s no wonder fans immediately fell in love with the song.

Yet, just like the memorable ‘glitch’ choreography of “Glitch Mode,” “Beatbox” has its own noteworthy point move. Throughout “Beatbox” the members always come back to one particular sequence with their hands.
As promotions for “Beatbox” begin, NCT DREAM stopped by MBC FM4U‘s radio show Noon Song Of Hope with DJ Kim Shinyoung on May 31 to discuss their new comeback.
There, Haechan revealed exactly who created the “Beatbox” signature move…
…and it’s none other than NCT DREAM’s main dancer Jisung!
Haechan : This time, our signature choreo hand movement for Beatbox, Jisung was the one who created it!

This may not come as a surprise to fans, since Jisung is well-known for his prodigious dancing talent. Yet, it’s always great to see the group’s maknae taking more creative initiative with every comeback, especially when the results are this good.
What’s more, Jisung’s reaction to being named by Haechan was priceless. He seemed a little embarrassed by the praise, saying to Haechan, “I told you not to mention it.” Jisung may be one of the best dancers of his generation, but he’s also a humble king!
