NCT DREAM Recreate One Of Their Most Iconic Debut Photos For "Candy" Special Winter Album And Fans Can't Stop Crying

NCT DREAM have finally shared concept photos for their special winter Candy.

As of late, NCT DREAM have been wowing audiences in Japan as part of their THE DREAM SHOW 2 tour. The group even went viral on their way to Japan for their iconic outfit choice to celebrate their first flight together with all seven members.

Fans were pleasantly surprised to hear the group would be making a comeback on December 19 with a special winter album, Candy, a remake of the classic H.O.T song. Although some concerns were raised about SM Entertainment‘s winter scheduling, NCTzens have been eagerly awaiting and preordering the special album.

The first teaser photo released showcased all seven of the members in an aerial shot, wearing clothes that might seem a bit childish at first. Each member is wearing one colorful glove, while some, like Jeno and Jisung, have interesting hats on.

This imagery is actually a toned-down version of H.O.T’s concept for “Candy,” the song NCT DREAM are remaking. H.O.T are considered one of the first K-Pop bands and actually made their debut under SM Entertainment.

The second teaser image features NCT DREAM peaking out from behind the door seen in the comeback announcement. All seven members can be seen in the cute photo!

Fans quickly noticed that this teaser photo, in particular, was actually a remake of one of the group’s concept photos from their very first album The First, over 5 years ago. Each member is even in the same order as the original photo, except for Jaemin, who was not in the group’s comeback because of an injury and is now the center of the new photo!
