Sharp-Eyed “Physical: 100” Viewers Realize Contestant Choo Sung Hoon Upheld The Promise He Made On The Show
One of the fan-favorite parts of Netflix‘s latest hit reality show, Physical: 100, was the undeniable sportsmanship all the contestants showed one another.
Although there was ₩300 million KRW (about $231,000 USD) on the line, the players always supported and encouraged the other contestants, even when they lost.

Even in the last challenge, the two final competitors, CrossFitter Woo Jin Yong and cyclist Jung Hae Min, cheered each other on as they battled the brutal “infinite rope pulling” challenge. And when Jung Hae Min lost, he showed nothing but respect and support for Woo Jin Yong.
Throughout most of the show, the contestants competed in teams, creating strong bonds between the players. MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon (also known by his Japanese name Yoshihiro Akiyama) was one of the team leaders. After winning the first team challenge, Choo Sung Hoon voiced his pride in his team, promising, “I’ll treat you all to a nice meal.”

Sharp-eyed viewers realized that Choo Sung Hoon seemed to make good on his promise as ice climber and mountain rescuer Kim Min Cheol had previously uploaded a picture of the team going out to dinner together. Although notably, two of the team members couldn’t make it.
