Super Junior‘s Shindong recently appeared as a special host on MBC’s Radio Star where he revealed the real reason he decided to go on an intense diet.
When Shindong appeared looking transformed, the other Radio Star hosts couldn’t hide their surprise.
In response, Shindong shared the reason why he had no choice but to lose weight.
I went to the hospital, and my doctor told me that if I didn’t start losing weight, I could die in my 40s. So I had no choice but to go on a diet.
And when Kim Goo Ra asked just how much weight he lost, Shindong offered an honest answer.
I lost 31 kilograms out of 116 kilograms. But I still have more to lose. Luckily, all of my health-related numbers are normal now.
Shindong recently drew a lot of attention with his new appearance after losing around 30 kilograms.
