Here’s The Moving Reason Why TWICE’s Jeongyeon And Jihyo Cried Every Day When They Made Their Debut

They couldn’t help it.

TWICE made their debut on October 20, 2015 with the song “Like OOH-AHH.” It was the day that all nine members had been eagerly awaiting after years of training.

Recently, the girls guested on YouTube channel ODG to look back on their career with kids. They were asked what it felt like to finally debut.

Jeongyeon explained that the biggest shock to her was hearing her own voice on music sites. She couldn’t hold back her tears when she listened to their songs every day. Thankfully, they were tears of joy!

It was novel to listen to my voice on music sites, so I cried every day listening to it. Because I was so happy.

On the other hand, Jihyo cried because she finally reached her dreams. She had been a trainee for ten long years, and the day she had been envisioning was finally before her eyes.

It was the day I achieved my dream of 10 years. I remember crying a lot with the members.

— Jihyo

What a career it has been and continues to be for TWICE! Their debut was just the start of an exciting and wonderful career.

However, the life of an idol isn’t always rosy. Aside from talking about the joys of their debut, Jihyo also looked back on one of the most difficult times of TWICE’s lives. See what she had to say about it below.
