Who Is Rising Star Lee Sang Heon? Meet The Actor Who Plays Kitty’s Enemies-To-Lovers Love Interest In “XO, Kitty”
Fans have been waiting for Netflix‘s spin-off drama series to the hit franchise To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and the trailer for XO, Kitty didn’t disappoint.
The upcoming series follows the romance story of Kitty (Anna Cathcart), Lara Jean (Lana Condor)’s little sister. In the final movie of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series, Kitty meets Dae (Jeon Ho Young) when her family visits Seoul, South Korea.
And in the upcoming series, Kitty convinces her family to let her attend an international school in Seoul that happens to be the same one Dae (recast as Choi Min Young), her boyfriend, attends.
But despite the fairytale ending that Kitty hopes for in surprising her boyfriend…
She’s in for a rude awakening as she realizes Dae has another girlfriend.
With the unexpected plot twist, the trailer introduces the possibility of a love triangle as Min Ho (Lee Sang Heon) seems to have a likely enemies-to-lovers plot with Kitty.
In the trailer, it even seems like Kitty has an unexpectedly NSFW scene with Min Ho.
But who is the rising star, Lee Sang Heon?
XO, Kitty marks Sang Heon’s first role as an actor, although he will soon be appearing in the 2023 film Gran Turismo, based on a racing simulation video game of the same name.
In an interview with Netflix, Sang Heon admitted that he “was so nervous” while auditioning that it was only when he got the role in XO, Kitty that he “was finally able to eat properly.”
The feeling that went through my body was unreal (the moment he was cast). I surprised my mom when I got home and called my whole family to share the good news. And also, I was finally able to eat properly. I couldn’t eat properly during the time of auditions because I was so nervous.

In addition to his acting work, Sang Heon works as a model.
Where, just like in the trailer, he isn’t afraid to show off his toned physique.
Sang Heon also focuses on rock climbing, which he diligently does as a hobby, posting regular updates to his Instagram account dedicated to his climbing.
Although the trailer has only given viewers a brief sampling of Sang Heon’s acting, fans can definitely look forward to his role in the upcoming show.
