SHINee‘s Taemin recently shared his new fan club name, and fans are reading extra deep into the announcement.
Taemin announced his fanclub name to be “TAEMate” which is a compound word combining “Taemin” and “Mate,” meaning close friend. This symbolizes that Taemin and his fans are close friends.
The official colors are mint and yellow and the logo is representative of a pansy flower. Additionally, the announcement stated that recruitment for the Taemin Official Fanclub will begin on May 13th (Monday).
It embodies a pansy flower. It means Taemin and TAEMates always think of each other.
However, fans noticed another funny possibility for the meaning of “TAEMate.” As Taemin’s fans know, his performance skills are always on point. In other words, people always say he “ate!”
Of course, this leads to the joke that TAEMate could stand for that instead!
