Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung Makes Her Hollywood Debut Alongside Keanu Reeves
Girls’ Generation member and actress Sooyoung is set to make her Hollywood debut soon.
According to reports, Sooyoung will be joining the star-studded cast of Ballerina, a spin-off from the iconic John Wick universe.
On April 25, the movie released 12 character posters, teasing fans’ anticipation. Sooyoung was spotted among those 12, portraying the character of Katla Park.
Ballerina will follow the character of Eve (played by Ana de Armas), a ballerina and an assassin, who sets out on a deadly mission of revenge after her family is killed in cold blood. She is trained under the Russian mafia group Ruska Roma. Katla Park is the daughter of the Ruska Roma’s colleague Il Seong. Eve’s first field mission is to protect Katla Park at the lavish Minus Eleven club.
Set to release on June 6 in North America, Ballerina is an action-packed story that takes place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.
Meanwhile, Sooyoung is also set to return to the small screen in Korea with her upcoming K-Drama, Second Shot at Love. The show will premiere on May 12, KST.
