Many reacted with surprise to the amount of streams, citing Chuu’s popularity. Chuu currently has 2.7 million followers on Instagram on her main account, and is well-known amongst K-Pop fans for her bubbly personality in appearances on programs.
Some considered this a question of “hype” not matching performance, furthering the discussion.

Others felt that that this debut was still a good amount for a solo artist, and that streaming across all platforms had better performance.

anyways, chuu will be okay.
Especially if ATRP promotes This earworm steadily.
And if not, brand deals, acting, and SNS revenues will still come her way.
