BTS’s V Smashes Yet Another Record With His Surging Instagram Following
BTS‘s V has once again showcased his extraordinary outreach with a latest social media milestone.
On January 13, KST, the idol reached 70 million followers on his personal Instagram account, becoming the fastest person on the platform to do so. His official handle, @thv, achieved this impressive milestone with just 150 posts, underlining his influence.
With this new record, V is also now the most followed Korean male soloist on Instagram and the second-most followed male K-Pop act on the platform after his own group, BTS, which has 77 million followers at the time of writing.
V launched his individual Instagram account along with the other members of the group in 2021. Since then, he has bagged one feat after another on the platform, including the record for reaching 1 million and 10 million followers the fastest. He also reportedly holds the record for the most-liked Instagram post by a Korean public figure in 2025, with over 17.7 million likes.
