Actress Goes On Livestream, Accuses Married Top Actor Of Secret Marriage And Adultery

Recently, the Chinese entertainment industry was rocked yet again with a shocking controversy when actress Huang Huiyi publicly exposed popular actor Bao Jianfeng in an emotionally charged live broadcast.

On January 16, the actress went live for hours, exposing Bao’s multiple alleged lies and the eventual turmoil in their marriage. She claimed that the actor initially lied about his age to pursue her. In reality, Bao Jianfeng is seven years younger than Huang. Upon learning the truth, she said she chose to ignore it as a white lie because she was deeply in love with him.

However, the first real rift in their marriage happened around the year 2000, when Huang allegedly cheated on her right before their marriage. Fearing that this scandal might blow up in his face, Bao apparently flew to Guangzhou during the Lunar New Year and proposed to Huang during a family dinner. She claimed that she had to accept the proposal out of family pressure and cover up his affair.

Though the couple officially registered their marriage in August 2001, there was no wedding ceremony. Huang shared that Bao brought only his parents and two close friends to a small family dinner. He also allegedly didn’t buy her a wedding dress. He then proceeded to ask her to quit acting and keep their marriage a secret.

After putting up with his suspicious requests, Huang was met with a rude awakening when Bao filed for divorce promptly after gaining prominence and fame through the popular C-Drama, 18-Year-Old’s Diary. What hurt her even more was the fact that he remarried actress He Jiahao almost immediately after finalizing their divorce in 2009.

The multiple betrayals by Bao apparently disillusioned Huang with marriage so much that she never tied the knot again. After spending years out of the public eye, when she started sharing online content, Huang claimed she discovered that He Jiahao had been paying for articles to defame her. She shed tears as she recalled these hurtful incidents during the live broadcast.

The exposé left Chinese social media completely shaken, attracting over 50 million viewers to the broadcast. Bao Jinfeng also responded to these claims, announcing legal action against Huang. Huang responded, saying she was ready to confront Bao and He in court.
