TXT's Soobin Admits That He Lied About BTS In His Rookie Days

TXT’s Soobin finally revealed the real reason why he joined BigHit Music. According to Soobin himself, the reason he decided to audition for BigHit Music traces back to none other than KARA’s Seungyeon. He revealed that Seungyeon once mentioned that a junior artist who had been catching her attention was BTS’s Jimin.

Hearing that, Soobin reportedly thought that if he managed to make a successful debut as BTS’s direct juniors, Seungyeon would also pay him some attention!

When I was a rookie, I went around saying that BTS was so cool and joined Bighit Music because of them. Everyone knows by now that that’s pretty much just a comment for show, right? To be honest, I’m a fan of KARA, and Seungyeon said that BTS’ Jimin was the junior that caught her attention recently. After seeing that, I thought that if I debuted as his junior, Seungyeon would pay attention to me. So I auditioned with the immature thought that I wanted to be noticed by her.
