When actress Park Kyung Hye expressed her serious astonishment at this news, Hyeri started explaining the full story behind the incident. She recalled playing curling at ISAC (Idol Star Athletics Championships) the day before and arriving home exhausted. “I felt extremely cold,” Hyeri mentioned, adding that despite turning up the heat of her electric blanket, she kept feeling cold and experiencing severe muscle pain.

The situation got so bad that she went to the hospital, but her fever refused to go down. While everyone was panicking about whether she should go on stage the next day for the Girl’s Day schedule, it was eventually decided that she would skip rehearsal and do the live broadcast performance directly. To make it through this schedule in her condition, Hyeri recalled getting continuous IV drips before going on stage.

According to the actress, her situation worsened so much that she was still lying down right before going on stage, announcing that she couldn’t push through the schedule. However, once she stepped foot on the stage, her body moved on its own.

Hyeri recalled that she felt a snap in her neck during a certain part of the choreography, and her memory completely blacked out. She kept performing solely based on muscle memory. When the performance ended, a close-up shot of her face showed her covered in sweat. As soon as the performance ended and Hyeri assumed the concluding position of the choreography, her body gave up. “The tension dropped, and I felt like throwing up,” she said, explaining the moments right before she fainted.
