Here’s a list of a few rules that Big Hit Entertainment trainees are expected to follow.

1. Managing their bodies

During a live broadcast, TXT’s Soobin and Yeonjun shared that when they were trainees, they had to manage their bodies, so they constantly had to exercise, and weren’t allowed to eat certain foods.

2. No eating in the building

TXT’s Soobin and Yeonjun revealed that when they were trainees, they weren’t allowed to eat in the company building or even bring food inside.

3. No dating

Before BTS debuted, they released a song called “A Typical Trainee’s Christmas”, where they threw some playful shade at Big Hit Entertainment. RM spoke on how he didn’t agree with the company restricting them from dating.

I have no girlfriend because our debut is soon. Ha, idols are getting married yet we separate male and female trainees? What’s the point? We can’t love so how do we write love songs? If it were up to me, I’d encourage dating.

4. No sleeping in the studio

Another surprising rule that Big Hit Entertainment trainees are expected to follow is not sleeping in the studio, as TXT’s Yeonjun and Soobin once spoke about this during a live broadcast.

Bonus: No spoilers

Usually, artists aren’t allowed to reveal spoilers without the permission of their company, but sometimes, spoilers are accidentally given. Before TXT’s debut, Taehyun ended up giving a spoiler about his position as a vocalist without him even realizing it. Fans couldn’t help but laugh over how Taehyun broke this rule.

I’m not sure if its because of the fine dust or because I belt out high notes often, but my voice hasn’t been the same and it breaks my heart. But it doesn’t hurt too bad!
