5 Idols Who Were Accused Of Having A Bad Attitude

Fans were disappointed with #3.

These idols have each been accused by fans or staff of having a problematic attitude. While some were only met with allegations, others have responded and apologized for their wrongdoings. Check out the 5 idols below.

1. Irene (Red Velvet)

Red Velvet‘s Irene was caught in a controversy when a longtime stylist and editor created an Instagram post criticizing an unnamed female idol who was later revealed to be Irene.

Eventually, SM Entertainment made a statement, followed by Irene’s own apology on Instagram.

This is Irene.

I sincerely apologize for hurting the stylist with my foolish attitude and careless words and actions.

I am regretting and reflecting on the fact that I have hurt many people who have worked with me up to this point, due to my immature behavior.

The recent happenings helped me look back on my past, and I am feeling ashamed of my lacking behavior, actions, and words. I have once again realized the importance of our staff members.

I will think and act more carefully in the future, so this does not happen again.

I would like to sincerely apologize to the fans who support me and all the people who have been concerned about this incident.

2. Kim Jiwoong (ZEROBASEONE)

On February 2, a fan posted a clip of their video call with ZEROBASEONE‘s Kim Jiwoong, and when the video call “ends,” the idol allegedly can be heard saying shibal, or f*ck.

WAKEONE made a statement that Jiwoong is not the one who said the curse word, but netizens are not convinced. There has even been an audio analysis conducted that may confirm the legitimacy of the audio.

3. Dohyun (MIRAE)

When multiple MIRAE members listened to BILLLIE’s song “GingaMingaYo (the strange world),” Dohyun (left) can be seen using exaggerated facial expressions that many netizens viewed as distasteful.

It was clear that he was imitating Tsuki‘s viral fancam, showcasing her varied expressions. He eventually issued an apology.

4. Zhang Shuai Bo (Boys Planet)

Boys Planet contestant Zhang Shuai Bo was in trouble with fans for his attitude when he was unsure if his group would be able to pull off a successful performance. Viewers criticized him for not being more passionate about his performance and for relying on the producers to help them pull off the show.

If we really can’t pull off [the performance], the show’s producers will help us. There’s no way they’ll just let the four of us stand there stupidly on stage.
