Kingdom: Legendary War was a MNET reality program featuring six boy groups, modeled after the program Queendom. Stray Kids, IKON, The Boyz, ATEEZ, BTOB, and SF9 all participated in hopes of being crowned the “Kings” of K-Pop.

Regardless of the results, all groups saw success following their appearance on the show!

1. Stray Kids

Stray Kids were the winners of Kingdom and won the reality show prize. Since the final airing Stray Kids have achieved quite a lot!

THE BOYZ won the Road To Kingdom pre-show and earned their place on Kingdom. Fans loved the groups performances on both shows which led to the group’s second place finish.

After the shows airing, THE BOYZ have had a variety of group and individual schedules!

New and Juyeon were DJs on KBS Cool FM ‘STATION Z’ during the month of October 2021. In March of 2022, THE BOYZ participated in the OST for the Webtoon Solo Leveling with the release of the song “Echo”.

The group’s most recent Korean mini album THRILL-ING sold over 500,000 albums during the first week of sales, doubling the amount from their previous release. “Thrill Ride”, the album’s lead single, also received 5 music show wins.

The Boyz are currently on their The Boyz World Tour: THE B-ZONE concert tour in America, and will also perform in Japan, Europe, Thailand, and Indonesia before their finale in Seoul.

After coming in third place, ATEEZ have had quite the year since Kingdom ended.

The tour began in Seoul on January 7 and concluded in Madrid, Spain in April. The group are speculated to be planning comeback preparations following sightings of special posters in Seoul and the concert venue in Madrid.

ATEEZ also hit 1 billion streams on Spotify during March 2022! Although leader Hongjoong hasn’t been able to watch the group’s performances on the show anymore, fans are still proud of their appearance on the show!

The oldest group among the participants, BTOB brought a touch of nostalgia for many fans watching Kingdom. Only 4 members participated in Kingdom due to Hyunsik and Sungjae‘s military service. Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, and Peniel, also known as BTOB 4U, impressed many with their performances, despite the sometimes 33 hour long film schedules.
