On October 24 morning (KST), Jin went to the Incheon International Airport to depart for his trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It takes over a day to travel from Seoul to Buenos Aires. So, finally, Jin was able to announce that he arrived safely on October 25 night.

Argentina has transformed into ArJINtina for his arrival.

We’re not just talking about the fact that Jin’s trip to Argentina is perfectly timed with the country’s Jacaranda season. So, the streets will be filled with purple due to the purple-leaved trees. What a beautiful coincidence!

As you know, purple has great significance to the BTS fandom as it’s the official color. It originated with V‘s coining of the phrase Borahae (“I Purple You”).

Argentina is turning purple in more ways than one for Jin. It’s totally received “borahaefication” for him.

Ministro Pistarini International Airport (also known as Ezeiza International Airport) in Greater Buenos Aires lit up purple ahead of Jin’s arrival.

Additionally, Argentinian ARMYs raised funds to light up the national historic monument and icon of Buenos Aires, The Obelisco de Buenos Aires.

The screen in front of The Obelisco de Buenos Aires will also show videos of Jin for two days, October 28 and 29, the same days as the Coldplay concerts. BTStream Argentina (@BTStreamArg on Twitter) organized the event.

Apparently, ARMYs are also organizing for purple lights to shine at River Plate Stadium (also referred to as Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti, Estadio Mâs Monumental, Monumental de Núñez, or simply El Monumental) for Jin’s performance.

Argentina is officially ArJINtina!
