ASTRO Moonbin & Sanha’s Fan Concert In Macau Is Officially Canceled Following Moonbin’s Passing
ASTRO‘s Moonbin was announced to have passed away on April 19. Fantagio, his company, confirmed this in a statement which asked the public for their empathy and consideration.
This is Fantagio. First of all, we would like to apologize for the sad, heartbreaking news. On April 19, ASTRO member Moonbin suddenly left us to become a star in the sky.
We sincerely ask you to refrain from speculative and malicious reports so that the bereaved families, who are in a state of great sadness and sorrow due to the sudden news, can honor the deceased.

They have also cancelled the fan concerts of Moonbin and fellow unit member Sanha in Jakarta and Macau, the news of the former breaking before the passing of the K-Pop idol was confirmed.
The nearest “2023 MOONBIN & SANHA Fan Con: [Diffusion]” was scheduled to be held at the Broadway Theatre, Macau, on April 22 (Saturday). Fantagio recently gave a brief statement of explanation on the venue’s website and promised to give further updates later on.

Besides ASTRO’s own activities, Korean artists have begun cancelling their schedules in light of this tragedy. Billlie, IU, iKON, and more have halted their photoshoots, interviews and album releases among other things in respect for Moonbin and his loved ones.
Moonbin & Sanha is the first official sub-unit of ASTRO. They debuted in 2020 with their mini album In-Out. Their last comeback was in January 2023 with Incense.
