BLACKPINK's Jennie Eloquently Explains Why They Don't Struggle With Work-Life Balance—Even If They're Always Busy

BLACKPINK knows better than anyone about life in the spotlight. Due to their overwhelming fame, they always have a schedule lined up. They’re frequently traveling around the world, attending multiple high-profile events a year. They’re also successful artists who sweep award shows and collect multiple first place wins, including several for their latest title track, “Shut Down.”

However, even if they are extremely busy, they have a healthy work-life balance.

They confirmed this in an interview with radio show SIRIUSXM where they were first asked, “Does it ever become tiring to always keep up and be on social media?”

It was Jennie who eloquently explained how they balance work from their day-to-day lives.

According to the star, she and her members recognize how essential having a good balance is. Calling a social media-centered life “hard,” she described separating from the internet by spending time with people she cares about. She listed her family as an example.

I think it’s very important to have a good balance, definitely. Having to live a life where you only exist on social media will be hard. Finding a balance—you know when you’re back home, you find time to spend with the people you love, with your family.

On the flipside, Jennie argued that work is also fun because she can communicate with BLINKs. Recharging at home helps her to bring out her best self when it’s time to do her job.
