BTS Is Everywhere In 2021, Even On “The Simpsons”
These days, you can’t listen to the radio, browse the internet, or watch TV without bumping into BTS!
The group has been referenced on numerous shows in Korea and abroad, including the K-Drama Hotel del Luna and the American TV show Silicon Valley. Now, they’re on The Simpsons again, thanks to Cletus Spuckler, aka Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel.
In a recent episode, Cletus named BTS’s members when Marge Simpson asked him about his family. He said, “Well, my family now is Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and all of them Mumfords…and everyone in BTS, except for Jungkook; he’s too pretty for my taste.”

This isn’t the first time The Simpsons has referenced BTS. In 2019, BTS popped up when the Simpson family visited Korea for an esports competition. BTS’s name appeared on the outside of a fried chicken shop on a sign that said, “BTS will appear here today!”
BTS’s fandom, ARMY, was also mentioned on a sign that reads, “BTS ARMY Recruiting Center.”
Now, all that’s left is for BTS to appear as animated versions of themselves! This would be a dream come true for BTS x The Simpsons fans, but also for V, who once asked ARMYs to draw him as a Simpsons character.
