CL Partners With Lyft And NAPCA To Promote Safe Transportation For AAPI Community

“I’m excited to partner with Lyft this month to honor the AAPI community…”

Rapper CL is teaming up with Lyft, one of the largest ride-sharing services, and the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) to promote safe transportation for members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. This comes at a time when many Asians are suffering from an increase of racism and attacks due to COVID-19.

Lyft is hoping to help the most vulnerable members of the AAPI community, particularly the elderly, by offering safer transportation options through partnering with various non-profit organizations, such as NAPCA. Together, they are introducing a credit program that will give individuals discounted or free rides.

Recently, US President Joe Biden announced that Lyft and Uber would also be providing free transportation to vaccination sites in order to increase Americans’ immunizations to at least 70%. This offer is available from May 24 to July 4.

Those who wish to participate in Lyft’s new credit program will be able to do so through a promo code. Check out NAPCA’s post below for additional information on the new partnership:
